The 25-year-old former Barcelona and Villarreal goalkeeper has emerged as the main challenger to Iker Casillas since his move to Liverpool in the summer of 2005. An outstanding shot-stopper, Reina has helped the Reds become regulars in the latter stages in the Champions League, with the keeper also forging a reputation as a quality penalty saver. Reina has so far had to settle for a place on the bench for much of his time in the national team set-up and has been limited to a handful of starts for Spain, but he will keep Casillas on his toes in Austria and Switzerland this summer.
