Real Madrid number one Iker Casillas is also the regular starter for Spain, having emerged as first choice during the World Cup finals in 2002 in Japan and South Korea. Cool under pressure and with no obvious weaknesses to his game, Casillas has already helped Real to a host of Primera Liga titles, as well as two Champions League crowns, having made his debut as far back as the 1998-99 season. Has recently been handed the captaincy of the national team by coach Luis Aragones and has already won well over 70 caps, although he will only reach the age of 27 shortly before this summer's finals.
