Another of coach Luis Aragones' surprise choices, forward Sergio Garcia has been called up despite his club side Real Zaragoza being relegated this season, while he was also Garcia started his career with Barcelona, but was unable to become a first-team regular and moved on to Levante in the summer of 2004. A mere twelve months later heGarcia's selection caused a major shockwave in Spain, with Real Madrid legend Raul missing out.
