A latecomer to international football having been born in Brazil, Marcos Senna has quickly established himself as a key member of the Spain set-up in recent times. The 31-year-old was cleared to play for Spain shortly before the World Cup finals two years ago and played in three of his adopted country's games in Germany, although he featured just once in qualifying for this summer's action. Senna usually takes up a defensive position just in front of the back four and is renowned for his wide range of passing and his long-range shooting prowess.
