Roman Pavlyuchenko will be well known to England supporters after coming off the substitute's bench in a Euro 2008 qualifier to score both goals for Russia in a 2-1 victory. The 26-year-old made his international debut in 2005, and will be hoping a successful Euro 2008 will eventually grant him a regular starting place in the national side. The striker has finished top scorer in the Russian Premier League for the past two seasons and since signing for Spartak Moscow from Rotor Volgograd in 2003, he has a goalscoring average of a goal nearly every two games.
