The Noginsk-born defender currently plays his football for Lokomotiv Moscow and starred for the side from the Russian capital in their 2007-08 UEFA Cup campaign. The 24-year-old left-back moved to Lokomotiv last summer after impressing for FC Kuban Krasnodar. He won his first call-up into Guus Hiddink's squad in February 2008 but is expected to spend most of this summer's tournament on the substitute's bench.
