The 24-year-old has spent most of his career in Germany and has been with Nurnberg since 2005. Before moving to Nurnberg he spent four years with Karlsruhe but has failed to win a regular place in Guus Hiddink's plans. He made only three substitute appearances during the Euro 2008 qualifying campaign and is not expected to see much action in Austria and Switzerland this summer.
