The speedy winger has been a recent addition to the international set-up after his impressive showings for club side Heerenveen. The 26-year-old wideman was a regular substitute during the Euro 2008 qualifying campaign and has won nine caps since making his international debut in 2004. Pranjic is preferred by coach Slaven Bilic as he can be employed as either a left-winger or left-back which makes him a useful squad member. He began his career at NK Osijek before moving into the big time with Dinamo Zagreb in 2004.
