Defensive midfielder who has the reputation of being the hardman of the Croatia side. Vukojevic is often compared to Italy midfielder Rino Gattuso such is the tenacious nature of his game. The 24-year-old has made over 150 first-team appearances for NK Slaven, Belupo, Lierse and current club side Dinamo Zagreb, while he has been linked with a move to a major European league at the end of the Euro 2008. Made his international debut in October 2007 after impressing for the under-21 side and has already found the back of the net in a subsequent friendly against Slovakia.
