Giant goalkeeper who will continue his long-running battle with Alexander Manninger for the number one jersey at the tournament. Like his rival, Macho has spent time in some of Europe's leading leagues without making a huge amount of appearances. The 30-year-old has played for Sunderland and Chelsea in the English Premier League and Bundesliga side Kaiserslautern without being handed too many first-team appearances. However, he appears to have found a settled home in Greece with AEK Athens where he has displaced former number one choice Marcelo Moretto this season. However, Macho has won just 11 international caps and may have to be content with a place on the bench this summer.
