Attacking midfielder who will be one of the youngest captains on show at Euro 2008. Ivanschitz is only 24 but is already regarded as his country's key player after a high-profile start to his career with the country's two main clubs - Rapid Vienna and Red Bull Salzburg. The left-footed midfielder, who is regarded as Austria's answer to David Beckham due to his high media profile and ability to strike a dangerous free-kick, is currently playing with Panathinaikos in Greece. A former Austrian player of the year, he has won over 30 international caps during which he has chipped in with five goals from midfield.
