Terim agrees to stay on

Turkey have confirmed that Faith Terim will remain as their coach until after the 2010 World Cup.
The 54-year-old former Galatasaray, Fiorentina and AC Milan coach suggested he was ready to step down and return to club management after Turkey's 3-2 semi-final defeat at the hands of Germany.
But the Turkish Football Federation have successfully persuaded Terim to remain at the helm of the national side until the conclusion of their World Cup campaign in South Africa.
"Terim is in his post and will be the head of our team in the 2010 World Cup," confirmed a brief statement.
