Turkey hope Terim remains

The Turkish Football Federation are hopeful of persuading Fatih Terim to stay on as coach.
The 54-year-old former Galatasaray and AC Milan coach suggested he was ready to end his second spell at the helm of the national side and return to club football following Wednesday's semi-final defeat to Germany.
But federation president Hasan Dogan has held positive talks with the highly-rated coach, who he believes could now be tempted to remain in charge until the 2010 World Cup.
"We talked yesterday on the plane returning from Basel," he told the federation's website.
"At this moment in time, Terim is at the helm of the national side and, God willing, he will be so until 2010."
