Seedorf reveals exit reasons

Veteran midfielder Clarence Seedorf believes he made the right decision to pull out of the Netherlands squad before the start of the tournament.
The 32-year-old AC Milan midfielder made himself unavailable to coach Marco van Basten in a surprise move on the eve of the tournament, but claims the decision was the right one for the good of the squad.
"If I had gone to Euro 2008 with the Oranje and only played a few minutes, troubles would have arisen," he said.
"I didn't want the squad to be divided into several camps. It was the right decision. My feelings told me that I couldn't do anything else."
Meanwhile, Seedorf has revealed he hopes to continue playing international football when Bert van Marwijk replaces van Basten as coach in the coming months.
He added:"I hope that I can play a part for the Oranje next season.
"That is of course because there is a new coach. It all depends on what he wants but I am ready for a return."
