Hickersberger confirms exit

Josef Hickersberger has resigned as Austria coach with immediate effect following the co-hosts' group stage exit.
The 60-year-old informed the Austrian Football Association of his decision to end his second stint at the helm of the national side on Monday.
Austria failed to qualify for the knockout stages of the tournament after gaining just one point from their three group stages matches against Croatia, Poland and Germany.
"I am tired and I need time off to recharge the batteries," he revealed.
"The chapter is closed."
Hickersberger guided Austria to just five wins in 27 matches since he returned to the post in January 2006.
