Poles lose injured Kuszczak

Poland's injury jinx has struck again after Manchester United goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak was forced to pull out of their squad through injury.
The 26-year-old suffered a back problem in a training session and coach Leo Beenhakker has requested permission to call up Wojciech Kowalewski as his replacement.
Kuszczak underwent an MRI scan and was subsequently ruled out for three weeks, but will be fit and ready to resume pre-season training with the Premier League and European champions next month.
The loss of their back-up keeper has come hard on the heels of the withdrawal through injury of midfielder Jakub Blaszczykowski.
Hertha Berlin forward Lukasz Piszczek was called up in his place ahead of Poland's opening game against Germany on June 8.
